[Black Crystal - Episode Prologue: "Lighting the Spark"]

This feels like a anime straight outta the 90's, and I mean that positively so.

Dialog is cheesy, but voice acting is pretty solid for the most part, better towards the end.

The animation is wonderful and gets better along the way. I hope to see more of this in the future, this was a unique vision here, with some old school heart.

Feels like a show that would fit in with adult swim. That odd comedy that you don't understand why it's funny, or it might now make you laugh even, but you can still enjoy watching it either way. Nice work. Hope to see more.

Great episode. The begging was funny, I love the action scenes, and it had a good tension coming from this episode. The battle scenes went deeper than they usually do and I feel like there was a bit of foreshadowing besides the tournament. But I could be wrong. Besides that I can't wait for the next episode.
